WHAT IS SUMMER SOAR?
Eagle Academy for Young Men of Newark’s SUMMER SOAR program is designed as a bold step to meet the academic needs of Eagle Newark’s rising 8th, 9th and 10th grade scholars.
For Eagle scholars who are already falling behind academically, summer learning loss can be a road block on their road toward academic success. The purpose of the Eagle Newark’s SUMMER SOAR is to begin to strategically address these academic deficits.
*Based on a scholar’s performance in the SUMMER SOAR, he may also be selected to attend *SATURDAY SOAR during the 2016 - 2017 school year. SATURDAY SOAR is a program designed to support Eagle Newark scholars during the school year with academic invention in a small group setting for tutoring and skill enhancement.
